Treppides Investments acquired a significant minority position in the German Oncology Center in Limassol, Cyprus, which welcomed its first patients in October 2017.
The German Oncology Center in Limassol is transformed into Cyprus's most high-end, luxury, multidiscipline private hospital equipped with 14 Multicare ICU beds, 120 "Image 3" and 16 "Eleganza 2" beds, and 1 "Gracie" with Colposcope bed.
The GOC operates an array of departments, each specializing in a different aspect of Oncology, such as:
a) Radiotherapeutic Oncology: An integrated Radiotherapy unit, capable of applying all modern and specialized techniques operates in the German Oncology Center.
b) Nuclear Medicine: The Department offers innovative and modern high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic services.
c) Pathology - Oncology: The Department of Pathology Oncology, provides treatment and care for patients diagnosed with cancer. The Department has state-of-the-art medical equipment including the pioneering scalp cooling method, the best treatment of hair loss symptoms, used in Cyprus for the first time.
d) Diagnostic / Interventional Oncology: One of the most crucial stages in Oncology, the cener uses state of the art diagnostic tests with modern imaging equipment for the assessment of each case.
